This website uses no advertising or profiling cookies and does not track you across other sites. The only non-essential cookie is Google Analytics, which helps us understand how the site is used so we can keep improving it. It loads only if you allow it through our consent banner — nothing is sent to Google before then — and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time.
The site is static and serves its fonts and assets from our own domain. Apart from Google Analytics, described below and active only with your consent, it makes no third-party requests. Your browser may store ordinary technical items needed to display a page; these do not identify you and are not used to follow your activity.
We use one functional cookie, qa_lang, to remember your language preference (English or Italian). It is set only when you explicitly choose a language, by using the EN | IT switch or accepting the language banner; it lasts one year and contains no personal data. Because it stores a choice you actively made, it is exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, and we list it here for transparency.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and how they reach us — so we can improve it. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and Google Signals is turned off. Until you consent, the Google Analytics tag does not load and no request is made to Google (prior blocking); the analytics cookies (for example _ga) are set only after you accept.
Google acts as our data processor for this measurement, under Google's data-processing terms, which we have accepted. Data may be transferred to the United States; that transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is self-certified, as its legal basis. Separately, Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address — it is used only momentarily to estimate your country, then discarded — a data-minimisation measure that is distinct from the transfer safeguard just described. We keep the analytics data for 14 months.
When you make a choice in the banner, we also keep a minimal, first-party record of it — a timestamp, an anonymous identifier, the policy version and the categories you allowed — with no IP address, name or email. We hold this record ourselves, as proof of your consent, keep it only as long as needed for that purpose, and share it with no one.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link in our footer, and you can view, delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If we add other tools that use cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again first.
